Calis BeachLocated around the bay from the charming old town of Fethiye, just as its name suggests, Calis Beach is all about a long stretch of sand and shingle, with stunning views (and spectacular sunsets) across the Bay to Sövelye Island and Fethiye. Behind the beach is a long promenade rich in restaurants and bars and for the more energetic there is windsurfing and kite surfing to make the most of the cooling offshore breeze that seems to arrive every afternoon. In the early evening, get your favourite barman to pour you a glass of something cold and take in the fabulous sunsets which are perhaps some of the best to be found anywhere along the coast. The Calls beach is 6 kms. extending as far as the Kariy River. |
